Andrew Feldman is the bubble boy

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

Andrew Feldman after getting rivered on the bubble for his tournament life.

Going all in before the flop with 99 he was hero-called by King Jack. On the Ace Ten 2 flop he was looking pretty good, the 8 turn also helped his chances…but any King Jack or Queen would send him back to the UK empty handed. And the river brought a most unwelcome Queen, unwelcome for Feldman at least, the rest of the room erupted in joy as everybody had made the money.

All 42 players will be back here tomorrow at 2:00pm to play down to the final table.

We’ll have photo’s, final chip counts and more info about all of our in the money players as soon as possible.

We are hand for hand

Thursday, February 19th, 2009
We are on the exact bubble, one more player and everybody makes the money.

Annette Obrestrad appears to have busted out of the tournament and there appears to be no ladies left at any of the tables.

Playrs on break

Thursday, February 19th, 2009
With binds of 1,500 and 3,000 and only three people to go until the money and until the day ends, the players are on a quick break.

A big bluff against Gert Andersen

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

Gert Andersen

A player raised under the gun, Gert Andersen called in the Cut-Off. The flop came A 4 4 with two diamonds, both players quickly checked. The turn brought the 9 of diamonds and UTG bet out 6,300, about half the pot. Gert called. The river brought the Jack of spades. UTG quickly went all in for more than 35,000. Gert fold and his opponent celebrated by turning 2 3 off suit face up!

Martin Wendt still rushing, Annette grinding to the money

Thursday, February 19th, 2009

Annette Obrestrad

Martin Wendt

Martin Wendt is still playing an open game and taking down more than his fair share of pots. Annette Obrestrad is sitting with less than 20 big blinds now and appears to be trying hard to make the money…not making a lot of pre-flop plays of any kind, just folding, folding, folding.

Play is moving fast even on the bubble

Thursday, February 19th, 2009
With blinds at 1,200 and 2,400 and average stack around 100,000 play is still moving fast on the bubble. Lots of all in confrontations. 46 players currently remain with 40 making the money.

You can view the complete payout schedule here

Albert Iversen busto

Thursday, February 19th, 2009
He played a good tournament but could not catch a break at the finish, just missing the money. He shoved all in from late position and was called by the big blind, Ace Jack for the BB versus Iversens Jack Nine of clubs. The board came down missing both players and Ace hi won the pot, sending Iversen home.

Play is fast, blinds are huge

Thursday, February 19th, 2009
Playing down to 40 playrs tonight the play is fast with lots of all in confrontations before the flop. There was just a 100,000 chip pot played with A J diamonds versus A 5 off suit, all in before the flop. Ace Jack held up and another one bites the dust here in Copenhagen.

AA vs AA vs KK

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

A crazy hand at the former table of Peter Eastgate (Eastgate busted earlier in the day). The player occupying Eastgate’s old seat held pocket kings, the button held Aces and so did the Big Blind! Both players with Aces tried to slowplay and when the flop came down fireworks went off and everybody found themselves all in.

But oh no, what is that on the flop…a third King! Thats right two kings beat four aces and scooped a massive, massive pot!
