We caught up with the World Champion for a few minutes and asked him:
After you won the Main Event you didn’t jump up and down and celebrate, why? Eastgate: Well there were several reasons for that; I was soooo tired and also sick. I was just finished What do you think of the title The New Great Dane I prefer Icegate. I don’t want to be the new anything, the second Great Dane..I want to be the first Icegate. Asked what he is going to do to follow up his big year, Eastgate said “I’m going to do like Johnny Lodden and start losing.”

Asked if he was surprised he had such a huge year, Eastgate said he was not surprised, he would have been very dissapointed if he had lost.

Patrik was in Thailand and could not make it to the event so had a friend say thank you to all the fans in Finland who voted him the best Scandinavian live playr in 2008.
